Our Proposal:

Are you passionate about scripting, automation, and building out-of-the-box solutions? Our client is looking for a Senior Endpoint Engineer with extensive IT and Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience to help develop and enhance their endpoint and security automation products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Patching Solutions: write code and define requirements for patch deployment across customer environments.
• Build, improve, and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate the security and management of Windows, Mac, and Linux endpoints. Ensure customer environments stay secure and up to date.
• Investigate customer needs and security vulnerabilities to create effective patching and automation solutions.
• Establish internal standards and templates to drive efficiency. Create and maintain clear documentation for internal teams and clients.
• Work closely with automation and QA engineers to ensure proper test coverage and high product quality.

Must-have Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience managing, configuring, automating, and software deployment to Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
• 6+ years of experience scripting in PowerShell
• Experience in software packaging and scripting software installers
• Experience managing endpoints
• Experience with source control, interacting with REST APIs, and working with structured data
• Background in automation – testing and automating processes
• Experience with 3rd party patching using tools like SCCM, Ivanti, and Kace
• Experience with the challenges IT teams face with security and software vulnerability management
• Technical experience across the entire IT infrastructure managed services stack.
• Bonus points: Pester Test Framework experience
