Job Summary:
Work with the OFSE Brazil Commercial team in all processes related to the development and delivery of commercial proposals involving the scopes of the Drilling and Completion stages of oil wells.
The Commercial Area is responsible for:
- Building winning commercial strategies for opportunities identified and prospected in the market.
- Managing processes and meeting the demands of Stakeholders for commercial actions;
- Preparing project budgets;
- Presenting Business Cases to local, regional, and global senior management.
The intern in the commercial area will support the above activities through market price analyses (clients and competitors); preparing commercial proposals; surveying costs for the execution of the scope of opportunities; analyzing operational, contractual, and financial risks; controlling documents; administration of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems; analysis of historical data and implementation of lessons learned; interactions with stakeholders involved in the commercial process; review and analysis of contracts; preparation of presentations, dashboards and management reports; support of opportunities at the Americas hub.
Internship Activities
First 6 months to 1 year:
- Welcome introduction, definition of goals and presentation of the Activity Plan;
- Get to know the work team, structural organization of the company and support departments.
- Ensure access to all resources necessary for the performance of their activities;
- Understand the main features of the product and price structure
- Understand the basics of the commercial process
- Support low-complexity proposals/quotes
- Be able to perform the most basic activities in the ERP, CRM and other systems used by the Commercial team
- Establish a network with the main stakeholders
- Support in the control of documents, metric reports and commercial processes
- Support commercial demands from our clients, whether through new requests for quotes, renegotiations and other demands that may impact our clients’ operations
- Support any and all commercial initiatives, presentations, Follow-Up of actions that may impact business
- Support proposals of medium to high complexity
- Be proficient in ERP, CRM and other systems used by the team
- Support the preparation of business case presentations for regional and global senior management
- Complete the following training courses through the BH Learning Platform: GRASP, Finance Foundations, Listening Skills, Communication with Confidence, remote work foundations and Sales operations.
- Manage and ensure proper control of the Deal Machine (CRM);
1 year to 1.5 years:
- Support market price analyses (clients and competitors);
- Support operational, contractual and financial risk analyses
- Perform historical data analysis and implementation of lessons learned
- Complete the following training courses through the BH Learning Platform: Managing price in negotiations and corporate finance foundations
1.5 to 2 years – end of internship:
- Understand the process and main steps involved in a commercial process (RFQ, contract signing and contract signing, and prospecting for purchase orders)
- Support contract review and analysis
- Present a final internship project reporting all challenges overcome and achievements made.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Administration, Petroleum Engineering, Production Engineering, Economics, Data Science.
- Advanced level in the Office package (mainly Excel and PowerPoint) is desirable
- Knowledge and experience with Power BI is desirable and a differential
- Advanced English.
- Availability to intern in person for 2 years, 30 hours per week
