    Airswift is seeking a Digital Electronics Engineer to work in a permanent contract in Rio de Janeiro with a major Oil & Gas Company.

    Experience in developing solutions with FPGAs/SoCs on various platforms.

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsible for designing, testing and documenting solutions in FPGAs/SoCs for various subsystems aimed at a company wireline tool under development;

    The professional will collaborate with the company’s development teams in the USA and Singapore.

    The professional will work closely with the Electrical Engineering team, the Systems Engineer and the Project Manager.

    Experience in developing solutions with FPGAs/SoCs on various platforms.

    Deep knowledge of hardware description languages for FPGAs (VHDL, Verilog, etc.).

    Experience with developing/testing digital electronics applied to embedded systems in harsh environments (oil and gas, aerospace, defense applications, etc.).

    Experience in signal integrity analysis using laboratory test equipment/simulation tools and performing logic/timing analysis.

    Proven ability to analyze hardware validation requirements in advance and develop/execute test plans and test configurations using hardware and firmware debugging tools.

    General knowledge of data acquisition, signal processing and feedback control systems.

    Experience with digital communication (MIL-STD-1553, RS-485, CAN, SPI, I²C, etc.).

    Timely documentation of technical reports.

    Ability to innovate, self-motivation, strong teamwork, adaptability, communication and writing skills are required.

    Job Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Science, or similar areas with sufficient experience is acceptable.

    A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in one of the areas above is desired.

    Fluent in English.
