Job Duties And Qualifications
Define test and integration strategies for components and subsystems in the development of a Halliburton wireline tool. Collaborate with teams in the US and Singapore, working closely with Engineers, Scientists, and the Project Manager at Halliburton Technology Center in Brazil (HBTC).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field (Master’s/Ph.D. preferred).
Experience:
- Experience with embedded systems development/testing in harsh environments (oil & gas, aerospace, defense).
- Knowledge of Risk Assessment, QFD, FMEA, and reliability tools.
- Experience defining requirements, specifications, test plans, and procedures.
- Skilled with lab diagnostic equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power amplifiers, power supplies).
- Knowledge of hardware development and digital communication protocols (MIL-STD-1553, RS-485, CAN, SPI, I²C).
- General understanding of firmware development, signal processing, and feedback control.
- Ability to contribute to firmware and hardware debugging.
- R&D experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, innovation, and ownership.
- Excellent teamwork, adaptability, critical observation, communication, and writing skills.
- Fluent in English.
