    Integrated Solutions/ Well Engineering

    In this role, they will be involved mostly in the planning, but with possible support to execution of IS projects. The main responsibilities are:

    • Ensuring all engineering activities are in line with HSE policies and procedures, and drive HSE culture by setting example through safe work practices.
    • Conducting business according to Baker Hughes Culture Pillars
    • Participating in tender bid preparation process for well engineering input.
    • Delivering customer presentations & lead meetings (may include travel to other locations).
    • Preparation and review of well design, well plan and operational procedures for intervention and/or abandonment of wells in area of responsibility.
    • Reviewing technical rig requirements.
    • Reviewing technical services and third-party requirements.
    • Preparing and reviewing operational time and well cost estimates.
    • In collaboration with internal and external parties, prepare risk register and contingency plans.
    • Preparing, participating and leading peer reviews, peer assists and other quality assurance activities related to the project.
    • Occasional monitoring of daily progress of job(s) or project(s) and monitor operations expenditure
    • Providing engineering recommendations and advice to the project team.
    • Assist evaluating and implementing best practices and technological advancements to Integrated Solutions operations.
    • Communicating effectively with well site/project stakeholders as needed, and make recommendations to drive flawless service delivery and operational excellence.
    • Assist in ensuring that pre-defined technical and operations KPIs are monitored and benchmarked against offset well data and pre-defined well objectives.
    • Participating, leading and ensuring Root Cause Analysis investigation are completed and lessons learned are recorded and shared within the team.
    • Developing and updating technical content for company policies, processes and procedures.
    • Preparing, reviewing and delivering all technical reports related to the project including End of Well Report, after action reviews, lessons learned summary, risk analysis.
    • Complying with data management according to Integrated Solutions procedures.
    • Participating and contributing in project and CoE team meetings and strategy discussions.
    • Keeping abreast of technological and engineering process advancements through affiliation with professional societies and participation in networks, workshops, seminars and training courses.
    • Ensuring that engineering and operational achievements and challenges are captured through case histories, lessons learned or papers, and shared with the global team.
    • May mentor and coach engineering team members.
    • May manage an engineering team.

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Have a bachelor’s degree preferably in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical/ Electrical Engineering. Desired further education in Petroleum/Oil & Gas or Well Engineering.

    • Demonstrate relevant work experience in completions or intervention and/or optimization.
    • Demonstrate experience working in at least two relevant applications applied to interventions and P&A: slickline, coil tubing, nitrogen operations, logging, cementing, perforating, pipe/string cutting and removal, fishing, completions (tally), plugging well structures, stimulation & evaluation, pressure measurement, fluids, flowback.
    • Have excellent Portuguese and Intermediated English oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize complex topics into clear and simple messages.

    • Have excellent interpersonal skills to work well with colleagues across all businesses/cultures, achieve objectives through effective influencing, and establish credibility with senior leaders.
    • Have Excellent analytics and problem-solving, including ability to form hypotheses and move forward in the absence of complete information.
    • Have experience in MS office suite, power BI or other analytical tools, well engineering and design software (for example: hydraulics, torque and drag, casing/tubing design)
    • Demonstrate previous relevant well delivery experience with multi-disciplined team.
    • Demonstrate well control awareness.
    • Demonstrate basic knowledge of Geo-mechanics.
    • Demonstrates ability to deliver continuous improvement in well design and operational performance.
    • Desirable knowledge of the Technical Regulations for the Well Integrity Management System (SGIP – ANP Resolution 46/2016);
    • Basic knowledge of conjunto solidário de barreiras.
    • Data competence: processing, transfer, collection, organization, grouping, notions of statistical analysis, decision tree.
