- We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic, fast-paced Agreement Delivery Maintenance Management Team in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brazil. This position is to support Agreements in the AMER south region reporting to the Maintenance Management Team in the FTL Expertise Center. As a maintenance planner, you will be planning Maintenance activities for the agreements you support. AS A MAINTENANCE PLANNER, YOU WILL FOCUS ON THESE RESPONSIBILITIES: ” Create contract lifetime maintenance plan ” Update annual and detailed maintenance plans for the assigned contracts and prepare input for annual financial maintenance planning. ” Proactively seek performance improvement possibilities and ensure operational and technical improvements are proposed. Create the sales opportunities in CRM, or if part of the contract, in the maintenance management tool. ” Act timely that the availability of required spare parts, exchange parts, field service resources and required maintenance tools for maintenance tasks are at installation as per the maintenance plan. ” Monitor site spare part inventory if applicable ” Monitor that the maintenance tasks are executed within the targeted time, and the Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Guidelines are followed as well as Customer Site Procedures. ” Communication and reporting with Contract Managers and customers in the area of maintenance management TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: ” B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical / Productional engineering ” Advanced knowledge/Experience with marine diesel engines ” Basic knowledge and understanding of engine functionality ” Structured and planned way of working ” Focused and Can-Do attitude ” Knowledge about Operations & Maintenance ” Good cooperation, teamwork, and communication skills ” Maintenance Management knowhow ” Contract business understanding ” Fluent in written and spoken English ” Willing to travel ” IT skills (desirable) ” Marine field service experience (desirable) ” Maximo knowledge (desirable) LAST APPLICATION DATE: 23/04/2023 At Wärtsilä we value, respect and embrace all our differences, and are committed to diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunities; everyone can be their true self and succeed based on their job-relevant merits and abilities.
